Cancellation policy

You have the right to cancel this contract within fourteen days without providing reasons.

The cancellation period is fourteen days from the day upon which you or a third party named by you who is not the carrier, took possession of the last goods.

In order to exercise your right of cancellation, you must provide us (Premium Foods GmbH, Kundenservice, Bielefelder Str. 4, 10709 Berlin, Tel.: -030/616 587 30; Fax 030/616 587 31) with a clear declaration (e.g. via post, fax or using this contact form) of your decision to cancel this contract. You can use the attached sample cancellation form for this purpose. However, this is not essential.

In order for the cancellation period to have been observed, you must have sent this communication regarding the exercising of the right of cancellation prior to the expiration of the cancellation period.

Consequences of cancellation

If you cancel this contract, we must immediately return all payments which we have received from you, including delivery costs (except for additional costs which have been incurred as the result of you choosing a different type of delivery other than the cheapest standard delivery that we offer), and at latest within 14 days of the day upon which we received the communication informing us of your wish to cancel the contract. When making the repayment, we will use the same method of payment by means of which the original transaction was made, unless otherwise explicitly agreed with you; under no circumstances will you be charged for this repayment. We can refuse to make the repayment until the goods have been returned to us or until you provide evidence that you have sent back the goods, whichever occurs earlier.

You must immediately return or hand back the goods to us (ALTOMAYO Onlineshop Rücksendezentrum, Premium Foods GmbH, Bielefelder Str. 4, 10709 Berlin), and in any case at latest within 14 days of the day upon which you informed us of the cancellation of this contract. The deadline shall be deemed to have been met if you send the goods prior to the expiration of the 14-day period. We shall cover the costs incurred in the returning of the goods.

You will only be required to pay for any loss of value of the goods if this loss of value can be attributed to handling other than what is necessary in order to ascertain the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Right of cancellation for consumers

A right of cancellation only exists for consumers. A consumer is any natural person who concludes a legal transaction for a purpose which cannot be attributed to their commercial or independent professional activities.

We kindly ask that you return the items using the return slip and the enclosed DHL return sticker. You can indicate the reason for the return on the return slip. This helps us to improve the service that we are able to offer you.

Exclusion of the right of cancellation

The right of cancellation does not apply to distance contracts

  • for the delivery of goods which are not prefabricated and for the production of which personal selection or determination made by the consumer is decisive, or which are clearly tailored to the consumer’s personal requirements,
  • for the delivery of goods which can quickly spoil or for which the expiry date would quickly be exceeded,
  • for the delivery of sound or video recordings or computer software in sealed packaging if the seal has been removed following delivery,
  • for the delivery of newspapers, magazines or illustrations, not including subscription contracts.
