Our ALTOMAYO Decaffeinated Coffee is made from 100% organically grown Arabica beans from the Peruvian highlands. Cultivated in sustainable mixed crops and agroforestry systems, harvested by hand and sun-dried, the beans are imported directly to Germany, where they are gently refined through a long-term drum roasting process.

What makes this coffee so special is its natural CO₂ decaffeination process using natural spring carbon dioxide. In a particularly environmentally friendly process, the caffeine is extracted using pure spring carbon dioxide – without any chemical residues. This preserves the delicate aromas while minimizing irritants and bitterness.

The taste in the cup is mild, round, and full-bodied – with notes of roasted nuts, delicate caramel, and a hint of chocolate. Ideal for conscious enjoyment at any time of day.
