ALTOMAYO has stood for high-quality organic coffee from Peru since 1998. We work closely with small-scale family farms and communities in Peru to promote sustainable and fair coffee cultivation.
The foundation for this is a family network that has been built and maintained since the 1960s. Through these direct relationships and fair conditions, we sustainably improve the quality of life of small-scale organic family farms.
Together we are committed to a fairer and greener future, based on deep ties and long-term partnerships in our country of origin, Peru.
Experience aromatic & mild organic coffee enjoyment for all the senses

Our organic Arabica coffee beans thrive in the Peruvian highlands under ideal climatic conditions in traditional mixed cropping and agroforestry systems that naturally enhance forest resources and protect biodiversity – without the use of synthetic chemicals.
The hand-picked harvest of ripe, red organic Arabica coffee cherries guarantees the highest organic quality and protects the delicate Arabica coffee plants.
These sustainable methods preserve the unique biodiversity of the Peruvian highlands and promote environmentally friendly coffee cultivation. This way, we guarantee the highest quality organic coffee and a taste experience for all the senses, with a clear conscience, in every cup.

ALTOMAYO stands for fair and cooperative trading practices to guarantee small-scale farming families and communities in Peru fair remuneration and a secure income, independent of fluctuations in the global market.
Through our long-term and fair partnerships and transparency along our value chain without intermediaries, we contribute to improving living and working conditions on the numerous family farms, offer secure future prospects, and simultaneously promote sustainable coffee cultivation in Peru.
Together we are shaping a fair and green future.
Aromatic & full-bodied caffeine-free organic coffee enjoyment at any time of day

Roasting is crucial for the taste in the cup: To refine our organic specialty coffees from Peru, we use a particularly gentle, long-term drum roasting process, which allows us to positively influence the aroma development and ultimately the taste, while also reducing unwanted irritants and bitterness.
For our decaffeinated organic specialty coffees, a portion of the organic Arabica beans are decaffeinated before roasting using the highest-quality decaffeination process available today: the special CO₂ (carbon neutral) process with natural spring carbon dioxide. This preserves the authentic taste and unique aroma diversity of our organic Arabica coffee beans – for uncompromising enjoyment at any time of day.
